About JLK Bromley
Just Little Kidz Bromley is located at 7–9 Moorside Road, BR1 5EW — a bright, engaging setting serving families across Bromley, Bickley and the surrounding area. We welcome children from 3 months up to 5 years old, with a team of experienced practitioners dedicated to giving every child the warmest possible start.
We are Ofsted-registered, DBS-checked and members of the NDNA. Our Bromley setting features a creative and stimulating environment where children can explore, play and thrive at their own pace.
Opening hours
JLK Bromley is open Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm, 51 weeks per year. We close on bank holidays and for one week over Christmas.
Our consistent hours make it easy for families in Bromley and surrounding areas to build a reliable routine around nursery, whether you're commuting into London or working locally.
Session types
We offer flexible sessions to suit your family's routine:
- Full day — the most popular option for working parents
- Half day morning — great for younger children easing into nursery life
- Half day afternoon — available subject to space
- Ad-hoc sessions — subject to availability, booked in advance

Government-funded hours
Your child may be entitled to government-funded early education hours, which can reduce — or in some cases eliminate — your weekly fees during term time.
- From 9 months: 15 government funded hours/week for eligible working families
- 2-year-olds: 15 government funded hours/week for eligible families
- 3 & 4-year-olds: 15 government funded hours/week for all; up to 30 for working families
We accept all major funded entitlements at Bromley. Check your eligibility and get your code at childcarechoices.gov.uk, then share it with us at registration.
Note: funded hours are term-time only. Holiday sessions are charged at the standard daily rate.
Meals & snacks
We provide freshly prepared, nutritious meals throughout the day — you do not need to send a packed lunch. Our menus are planned to be balanced, child-friendly and varied.
We cater for all dietary requirements, allergies and cultural preferences. Please let us know at registration so we can make the right arrangements before your child starts.
A small food charge applies for children attending on government-funded-only sessions (breakfast £2, snack £2, lunch £4.50, tea £4). This does not apply to children paying standard fees.
Settling in: what to expect
We have a structured, gentle settling-in process designed to make the transition as smooth as possible — for your child and for you. It typically involves a series of short visits before your child's official start date, gradually building in length.
Every child is assigned a key person — a dedicated practitioner who gets to know your child's routines, preferences and personality, and becomes a trusted face from day one.
What to bring on the first day
We keep it simple. You'll need:
- Nappies and wipes (if your child is not yet toilet trained)
- A labelled change of clothes (two is better)
- Any comfort item your child relies on (teddy, dummy — all welcome)
- Any medication with a completed consent form
