📅
Submission deadline: last working day of each month.
Staff are paid on the 5th of the following month. It is your responsibility as an employee to ensure your timesheet is submitted on time to avoid delays in processing payments.
⏰ The nursery runs 8am to 6pm. Your hours count from 8am to 6pm — at Croydon, from 7am or to 7pm on the early mornings and late nights a manager has set. Duties that run past 6 won’t be authorised, so please make sure everything is done before your shift ends.
Extra time a manager has agreed in advance (a late collection, covering a colleague) goes under extra hours with the reason, for their approval.
How this works
- Weeks run Monday to Sunday and are grouped by their week-ending Sunday, exactly like the paper sheet.
- Enter your IN and OUT times — hours are worked out for you. An unpaid break is deducted automatically on shifts over 6 hours; change the break box if you took a different break.
- Change the Type for annual leave, sickness, bank holidays, training or unpaid leave. Leave days are valued at your usual shift for that day.
- The nursery finishes at 6pm. If your out time is later, your hours still count to 6pm only. Duties that run past 6 aren't authorised; extra time a manager agreed in advance goes under extra hours, and doesn't count until a manager approves it.
- Extra hours must be approved by a manager before they count. Enter them, then hand the device to your manager to approve with their PIN. They stay at 0 hours until they do.
- Your work is saved on this device as you type. Nothing is sent until you press Submit.
- Once submitted the sheet locks. If something is wrong, click Unlock to correct, say why, then re-submit — it goes to the office as an amendment with your reason attached.
